IATA "Dangerous Goods Regulations" (International Air Transport Association) represents an operational version of the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Technical Instructions, which is an independent agency of the United Nations, in charge of developing the principles and procedures of international aviation navigation, routes and airports and promoting the planning and development of international air transport to make it safer and more orderly.
It contains the requirements for the transport of dangerous goods by air in a "user friendly" format and also includes additional information that can help shippers meet the compliance requirements established by airlines.
