Cosmetic

The Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 is the European Regulation specifying the requirements that all cosmetic products must meet and with which they must comply in order to ensure a high level of human health protection.

In fact, the regulation establishes which substances may be used in cosmetic formulations, which may not be used, which may be used only in certain quantities, the labelling provisions and how the product safety assessment must be carried out before being placed on the market. All companies that make finished cosmetic products must ensure that their products are safe for human health and for the proper functioning of the domestic market.
